Sheila Bishop Slo-pitch Tournament
The 10th annual Sheila Bishop Memorial Wood Bat Tournament returns to the Penticton Peach Festival.

We are pleased present the 10th Anniversary of the Sheila Bishop wooden bat tournament!! This Co-ed fun tournament is unique in that it is played solely using wooden bats which are supplied by the tournament.
Entry fee is $350 and every team is guaranteed at least 4 games. This tournament is all about FUN and all the proceeds are donated to charity. In fact, we are extremely pleased to have donated over $30K to various groups over the past few years including the Canadian Cancer Society, South Okanagan Children's charities, Dragonfly Pond Society as well as 5 local families who have dealt with medical issues. We are proud to do this in memory of our dear friend Sheila Bishop who passed away of cancer. This allows us to help out in our community and to keep our friend in all our hearts.
To add to the fun of the weekend, we also host a beverage garden and have silent auctions and a home run hitting contest that is always a huge HIT! (Pun intended).
Last year's tournament had 13 teams including entries from Osoyoos, Kelowna and even Calgary! We are hoping to get 16 teams for this year's event.
