For over 59 years there has been square dancing in Penticton during Peach Festival.

Penticton Square Dance Jamboree celebrated its 50th year. The following year the festival was incorporated with Peachfest as the Peachfest Square Dance Festival. The festival offers a unique and fantastic line up of callers and cuers to entertain dancers from Alberta, BC and several of the Pacific Northwest states. The festival offers an opportunity for dancers to enjoy various levels of square and round dancing, and even an opportunity to dance in the lake. All dancing will take place at the Senior’s Centre on South Main Street, Penticton (www.pentictonseniors.org).

Dancers are also encouraged to participate in the Grand Parade on Saturday, August 10.
